Hopefully yours wasn’t limited to only 195 km/h like the Mercedes was that I had when I was there.

It was not, but the tiny engine and heavy car limited it to about 210.

I rented from Sixt because they had easy to use online booking, it actually worked out pretty great, who did you use?

Sixt. Pretty nice experience and the price was reasonable. Not sure why your Mercedes was limited to 195, must not be a company-wide restriction. Of course, if there was a rule in the agreement about top speed, I might be in trouble.

I read through all the material, no mention of not maxing it on the autobahn, we thought about taking it on the ring but came to our senses and rented a separate car for that. I know the B180 was limited cause down hill, foot to the floor in fifth I got up to 196, it wanted to go faster, but there was a limiter. My friend and I were thinking about going back again, this time, now that we’ve both got more money, thinking of something like an M550d, cause they offer them, hoping that wouldn’t be limited.
